2040 Film Showing

Our screening set for Thursday 19 March has reluctantly been cancelled due to local concerns and escalating coronavirus issues.

We intend to re-arrange this as soon as the safety guidance surrounding public gatherings becomes clearer so be sure to check back regularly for a new date!

‘2040’ is a newly released (November 2019) documentary in which writer/director Damon Gameau embarks on a global journey to meet the innovators and change makers pioneering the best solutions already available to us today to improve our planet.

Motivated by his 4-year-old daughter and concern for the world she will inherit, Damon steps away from the current doom and gloom version of the climate crisis to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040.

The result is an aspirational film full of hope about the possibility to make changes that will shift the course for humanity and the planet. And it’s one the next generation needs to see, to aspire to, and to believe is possible.

Tickets available from Eventbrite here: https://cca-2040-screening.eventbrite.co.uk

Tickets for the screening go on sale Thursday 27th February from 10.00 am and must be booked in advance.
