There are several ways you can help Cerney Climate Action make a difference.

Join any of our action groups - as many that interest you.

Our action groups are:

• Consumer Choices - to promote local food sourcing and sustainability
• Trees and Rewilding - to support tree planting and rewilding opportunities and establish a local carbon-offset scheme
• Political Pressure - to demonstrate what can be done at a local level to councils, politicians, organisations and businesses
• Local Travel - to encourage walking, cycling and use of public transport wherever possible through better local infrastructure, such as new cycle routes, an improved bus service and a community lift share scheme
• Sustainable Energy - to encourage residents and businesses to adopt energy saving measures while transitioning away from fossil fuels
• Fashion and Waste - to reduce fast fashion and household waste by encouraging reuse, clothing swaps and upcycling

and to find out more about taking part. Each group meets regularly to set objectives and take actions to achieve them. Group chats - to arrange meetings or update members - are managed through WhatsApp so you’ll need a smartphone with WhatsApp installed to get the most from your involvement.
