January 2020 Open Day
We had a fantastic turnout for our first ever open day and it was a pleasure to share what we've been doing with so many of you! The open day featured an inspiring talk by Cheltenham-based sustainable fashion activist and blogger Tolly Dolly Posh followed by a clothing swap. We also had an impressive array of electric vehicles on display courtesy of South Cerney's Viridian EV and Cheltenham-based Cleevely Electric Vehicles, who were able to answer all of your questions regarding the practical aspects of owning an electric vehicle. JEC Electrical were also on hand to provide advice on installing electric vehicle charging points at your home.
Climate Science Talk
In July 2019, as our first public event, local clean energy scientist Tom Nicholas gave a talk on the science of Climate Change. His talk focused on the evidence behind the climate crisis, the effects it is likely to have on society, and the most important steps we can take to help combat the problem.
